We’re offering a virtual event for all our clients and families who’d like to engage in conversation about caregiving — particularly for a family member with dementia — and the process of working with a professional care coordinator.  ELET Attorney Julia K. Price will share her personal story of becoming her grandmother’s primary caregiver, the ways caregiving impacted her life, and the process of transitioning her grandmother to a residential facility.  Care Coordinator Jill Shoffner, who assisted Julia with the placement process, will discuss caregiving challenges from a professional perspective and offer tips for those who find themselves in a family caregiving role.  Both will take questions from the audience during the event.

To receive notifications about this event, follow our page on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/elderlawofeasttennessee  We will post an event, and you can mark yourself as an attendee.  On the scheduled day and time, tune in to see the live feed.  You may write in questions or comments in the discussion, and an ELET staff member will ask Julia and Jill the questions so that they can respond in real time.

If you have any questions, ask us on Facebook!  We’ll be happy to help you prepare for this event.
