About Your Speaker

Attorney Bailey Schiermeyer is Certified as an Elder Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation and is accredited with the Veterans Administration. Bailey is a partner at Elder Care Law of Tennessee (ECLT), and she and her partners serve clients at three locations in Lebanon, Knoxville, and Johnson City.

ECLT focuses on helping clients that aren’t easily served by traditional estate planning law firms. They help families implement strategies to resolve issues with gifting or real property so that Medicaid eligibility is possible. Many nursing facilities refer clients to us for Medicaid applications when complex legal issues exist, or families need extensive help completing the steps necessary to obtain an approval. ECLT takes a holistic approach to serving clients by utilizing an interdisciplinary team to provide estate planning, care coordination, and assistance with benefits applications and appeals.
