Covid-19 Vaccines Are Rolling Out... But When Will I Get Mine?

More than 221,000 people have been vaccinated in the first four weeks of Tennessee’s vaccination initiative. With hope on the horizon, many are asking when am I eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and where do I get it?The Tennessee Department of Health offers clarification with their online resources and three step process outlined below.Find Your PhaseTennesseans can find out what phase of the vaccination plan they’re in by visiting Covid-19 Vaccines EligibilityFind the Phase Your County is Currently VaccinatingTo learn what phase your county is vaccinating, visit Covid 19 Vaccine PhasesRegister for a Vaccination AppointmentPeople who are in a phase currently being vaccinated in their county can register online with your county  for an appointment time to receive a vaccination through their county health department. Click your county on the map and then click “Make an Appointment” to register. Those who register will be asked to enter their name and contact information to be notified of their appointment date, time and location as soon as vaccine becomes available.Keep in mind that Covid-19 vaccine availability through the health department varies by county, and individual counties may progress through stages of vaccination at different times.If you receive healthcare coverage through the VA, click here to stay informed about vaccine eligibility and availability in your area. So far, the VA has 195 facilities across the country offering vaccinations, with more being added.
